How did you celebrate the Black Ops launch?

As many were expecting, like it or not, the Black Ops launch was one of the largest, most anticipated multi-platform releases of the year. Certainly, each community spent the evening in a surely different, yet similar manner. Some great, some well, not so great, like the Gamestop in Baltimore that got held up at gunpoint. The thieves making away with several consoles and a hundred or so copies of Black Ops.

Regardless, I did not pre-order Black Ops, but I did offer to take my younger brother to pick up his copy. He had went to our local Gamestop when they opened at 9am to pay off the game and get his number for the midnight release. Thankfully he was number 4. So we left feeling pretty confident that we'd be in and out when midnight came around. Needless to say we get back at about quarter to 12am and there must be at least 500 cars in large plaza that Gamestop shared with several other stores. There was a Sahlens hot dog stand and many US Army and Marines all decked out in there uniforms, a few of which were friends of mine. So my bro and I head to the front of line and retrieve his copy. Upon exiting we run all the way down the line yelling "number 4!" while being booed by some of the people in the 200-300 ticket range. The drive home was similar to that of Nascar with people flying out of the Gamestop parking lot. I'm sure the local authorities had a field day pulling people over that night.
